Notice on the use of cookies and other tracking technologies on the Timeware Digital S.r.l. website.
This Cookie Policy is intended to disclose the methods and procedures followed for collecting, through cookies and other tracking technologies, information relating to users who visit the website owned by Timeware Digital S.r.l., accessible at www.timeware.it (hereinafter the "Site").
Timeware Digital S.r.l. — Strada 1, palazzo F5, Assago Milanofiori (MI), Italy (hereinafter also the "Data Controller"), represented by its pro-tempore legal representative, email address [email protected].
Timeware Digital S.r.l. has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at: [email protected].
Cookies are small files that visited sites send to the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites on a subsequent visit. Other technologies with similar purposes fall under the same rules (e.g. local storage, fingerprinting, tracking pixels), collectively referred to as "tracking tools".
Cookies may be installed directly by the Data Controller of the visited site ("first-party cookies") or by a different site whose elements are present on the visited site ("third-party cookies").
Processing data through technical cookies does not require the user's prior consent. Installing non-anonymized analytics cookies, advanced-functionality cookies and profiling/marketing cookies instead requires the user's free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, pursuant to art. 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018) and arts. 6 and 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in accordance with the cookie guidelines adopted by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) on 10 June 2021.
In particular, in line with the Garante's guidance:
These are cookies necessary for the Site to function correctly and to deliver the services requested by the user (e.g. navigation or session cookies, which enable authentication for access to restricted areas, and functionality cookies, which store user choices such as language). No prior consent is required to install these cookies.
Analytics cookies collect information, in aggregate form, about the number of users and how they visit the Site. They can be treated like technical cookies — and therefore installed without prior consent — only if: (i) they are used directly by the Site's Data Controller for statistical purposes; (ii) the IP address is masked/anonymized from the point of collection; (iii) the third-party provider, where used, does not cross-reference the collected information with other processing or transfer it to third parties. In the absence of these conditions, analytics cookies are treated as profiling cookies and require the user's prior consent.
These are cookies designed to build user profiles, for example to send advertising messages in line with preferences shown while browsing. Given their particularly invasive nature, the law requires that users be adequately informed and give free, specific and revocable consent before they are installed.
First-party cookies are managed directly by Timeware Digital S.r.l. as the Site's Data Controller; for these cookies, the disclosure obligations and consent management are the Company's responsibility. Third-party cookies are installed by parties other than the Data Controller (e.g. analytics or social-sharing service providers); for these cookies, the specific notice and the ways to manage preferences are provided directly by the third party, whose site is linked where available.
At present, the Site does not install any analytics or profiling/marketing cookies. It uses only an equivalent technology — the browser's local storage — to remember the choices users make about cookies, as shown in the table below. This list will be updated whenever a new tracking tool is introduced.
No analytics, advanced-functionality, or profiling/marketing cookie or tracking tool is currently active on the Site.
Users can change their preferences for non-technical cookies at any time by clicking the button below, or via the 🍪 icon shown at the bottom-left of every page of the Site.
In addition, users can manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, which allow deleting cookies already installed and blocking new ones, in whole or in part. Please note, however, that disabling technical cookies may impair the use of some features of the Site.
The Site may contain links or references to other websites. Timeware Digital S.r.l. does not control the cookies and other tracking technologies installed by such third-party sites, to which this Cookie Policy does not apply.
Technical cookies are retained for the time strictly necessary to ensure the required functionality (generally for the duration of the session or for a limited period). Analytics, advanced-functionality and profiling cookies, if installed in the future, will be retained for a period not exceeding 24 months from installation, unless a different, shorter period is indicated, after which consent will need to be requested again.
To exercise rights relating to the processing of personal data carried out through cookies (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority), please refer to the Site's general Privacy Policy.
For any questions, comments or requests regarding this Cookie Policy, please contact the Data Controller at [email protected].
This Cookie Policy was aligned with the cookie guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) on 4 September 2026. Any subsequent updates will be published on this page.
